We are known for services including: emergency services, cardiovascular care, neurosciences and robotic surgery. We offer orthopedic and spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health and obstetrics. HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center. We are a certified Ventricular Assist Device program. We are an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. We offer two off-site ERs in Palm Beach Gardens and West Boynton Beach.
**Job Responsibilities**
The Director of Imaging Services supervises the operation of the Medical Imaging Department. Communicates, coordinates, delegates, and assigns the daily activities of the Medical Imaging Department. Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Maintains technical proficiency and expertise in areas of responsibility. Manages clinical supervisors of each Imaging modality to ensure the quality of work. Supervises patient flow and staffing. Provides testing for patients with many different clinical conditions and all age ranges. Maintains current procedural protocols, computer files, equipment maintenance program and quality control data. Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with JCAHO and meets Regulatory requirements in accordance with the Federal & State Rules and Regulations. Ensures that the section meets regulatory requirements. Works independently and proceeds on own initiative in compliance with departmental guidelines and practices.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Certified by ARRT & BLS. Finger print background required
EDUCATION: Associates Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years in management of Radiology Department involving all modalities of Radiology preferred.
