    Description

    The Limited Radiology Technician & Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a radiology department supervisor, manager and/or Radiologist and is responsible for radiographing patients for diagnostic purposes, within their scope of practice.

    • Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and safety.
    • Adaptability and accuracy.
    • Must have good visual acuity and motor coordination.
    • Strong clinical skills.

    • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
    • Strong computer skills (data entry and typing).
    • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
    • Talking or hearing essential to communicate with patients and staff.
    • Good communication skills; read, speaks, and writes English fluently.
    • Bilingual skills preferred.

    Required Experience

    Required:

    • Current Limited X-Ray Technician License
    • Graduation certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
    • (BLS) Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
    • High School Diploma or GED

    Preferred:

    • 2 years of front and back medical office experience
