Job Summary:
The Content Director at the University of Colorado School of Medicine plays a pivotal role in shaping medical education by developing and overseeing curricula that ensure students acquire the core knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become competent physicians. This role involves administering and enhancing educational programs, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, assessing student performance, and maintaining compliance with accreditation standards. The Content Director collaborates with faculty, recruits and supports educators, and fosters continuous quality improvement through curriculum reviews and innovative teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
10% - Administration:
25% - Curriculum Execution and Program Innovation:
30% - Curriculum Review, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Accreditation
10% - Student Assessment and Grading
o Provide fair, and effective formative and summative assessments.
o Provide assessment results to students to support their learning and on-going development.
o Monitor reliability, validity, and alignment of exams with learning objectives and course content.
10% - Faculty Recruitment, Support & Development
15% - Collaborative meeting attendance and participation
Work Location:
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Instructor: $12,500 as 0.05 FTE salary support, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000.
Senior Instructor: $12,500 as 0.05 FTE salary support, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000.
Assistant Professor: $12,500 as 0.05 FTE salary support, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000.
Associate Professor: $12,500 as 0.05 FTE salary support, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000.
Professor: $12,500 as 0.05 FTE salary support, up to the educational salary cap of $250,000.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
