    As a Radiology Care Coordination Specialist at MercyOne, you will ensures the coordination of the next level of service/care/needs for patients within Imaging services, act as a resource to patient, family or physician calling for assistance, and works collaboratively with imaging modalities to ensure efficient coordination of patient schedules.

    Schedule:

    • 40 hours a week
    • Day shift

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma. At least one year of post-high school medical education. Associate degree preferred.
    • At least one (1) year of clinical oncology health care or hospital-based experience.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in order to interact and communicate with patients and medical staff.
    • Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology.
    • Ability to function autonomously, self-directed with a high level of judgment and decision-making.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills necessary to develop and manage multiple monitoring systems.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer databases and software to include Excel, Word. Prefer prior Epic experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve with internal and external customers and systems.
    • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative environment.
    • Must possess a personal presence characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
