Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 Hours, 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) position 0 hours NBO versus the standard 40-hour NBO. The facility will allow 4x10 block scheduling for the right candidate, but the selected traveler must be available to work Saturdays. This is an Allied Health contract role specializing in Mammography Technology within the Radiology / Cardiology profession at a healthcare facility in Santa Rosa, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography imaging studies with an average of 20 patient visits per day
  • Operate within a 2-room/2-bed imaging environment
  • Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies as applicable
  • Follow all orientation protocols all orientation hours are billable for preferred profiles

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in radiology / mammography technology
  • First-time travelers accepted with relevant experience

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in mammography imaging and radiology / cardiology technology
  • Ability to perform 20 visits per day in a 2-room clinical setting
  • Availability to work Saturdays (required)
  • Ability to work 4x10 block scheduling (preferred scheduling arrangement)

Education Requirements

  • CA state license required (active, not pending pending license not accepted)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Facility type: healthcare imaging facility (details available from Unit Manager)
  • Scrub color: please ask Unit Manager for specific requirements
  • RTO (Requested Time Off) restrictions: no more than 7 days during contract
  • COVID-19 vaccination: not required
  • Flu vaccination: status unknown confirm with facility
  • Weekend requirement: none (Saturday availability required per scheduling note above)
  • On-call rate: $15.00; Call-back rate: 1.3%; Charge differential: $2.50; Holiday rate: 1.3%
