Responsibilities/Job Description:
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiology Aide to join our imaging team at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 8AM - 4:30PM with rotating weekends.
Aids as requested to Radiology Department staff, patients, and nursing personnel.
Responsibilities
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
- Assists the radiologic technologist and radiologist with procedures to facilitate patient flow.
- Provides appropriate patient safety measures to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
- Develops films to ensure maintenance of patient flow.
- Prepares room set-up to ensure availability of procedural needs.
- Transports patients to maintain patient flow.
- Assembles and files radiology jackets to ensure timely examination processing.
- Maintains supply inventory to ensure availability of required items.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Computer Skills: Basic ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (navigate in Windows, Outlook, epic EHR, etc.).
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications
- Interpersonal Communication: Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co- workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection.
Qualifications:
$21.96- $26.09 Hourly
