Radiologic Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures that assist healthcare providers in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. The technologist will operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining a strong focus on patient care, safety, and quality standards.

Position Details

  • Location: San Diego, CA

  • Assignment Type: 4-month temporary assignment with potential for temp-to-hire

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.

  • Operate available X-ray equipment safely and effectively.

  • Produce quality diagnostic images of various areas of the body.

  • Maintain high-quality patient care throughout the imaging process.

  • Follow established patient-care and safety standards.

  • Provide professional and compassionate care to patients.

  • Work effectively with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnostic needs.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Successful completion of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination.

  • Active California Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (CRT-R) license.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an outpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and patient-care skills.

  • Ability to operate radiographic equipment while maintaining image quality and patient safety.

Work Environment

This position is based in an outpatient healthcare setting and involves regular interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. The technologist must be able to perform radiographic procedures while maintaining appropriate patient-care, safety, and quality standards.
