We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in an outpatient healthcare setting. The Radiologic Technologist will operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to established protocols and provider orders.
Operate X-ray and related imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Verify patient identity and confirm the appropriate imaging procedure before examinations.
Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns within the scope of practice.
Apply appropriate radiation protection and safety measures for patients, staff, and visitors.
Review images for technical quality and determine whether additional images are required within established protocols.
Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
Ensure imaging equipment and examination areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
Recognize and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Successful completion of the applicable American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination/requirements.
Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (CRT-R) license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an outpatient setting.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced outpatient or ambulatory healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures and techniques.
Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment.
Knowledge of radiation safety and patient protection standards.
Strong patient-care and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and image quality.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinical environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care.
This is a 4-month temporary-to-hire opportunity in an outpatient healthcare setting in National City, California. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule from approximately 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
