Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray), Evenings

A leading Westchester hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join its growing Radiology team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple ambulatory and hospital-based settings while utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
• Properly prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and review completed studies for accuracy and completeness
• Assist physicians during special procedures as needed
• Educate patients and family members regarding examinations and answer questions appropriately
• Process images and maintain accurate documentation within RIS, PACS, and EMR systems
• Perform equipment quality assurance checks and report equipment issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide clinical guidance and instruction to radiology students when assigned
• Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License or Limited Permit
• ARRT Certification (R) or eligibility for certification
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 4p-12a

Salary and Bonus

• $41.00 - $52.00/hr + Shift Differential
• $7,000 Sign-On Bonus
