Radiologic Technologist II

Preferred License and Certs: Employment Screening Requirements: As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required to include all C-Arm procedures.
