The Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishments of their imaging needs by obtaining visual information for use in interpretation and diagnosis by physicians.
Special Instructions: This is for a full-time Radiologic Technologist with Ultrasound Experience. You do not have to be registered in Ultrasound but would like someone that has some experience in ultrasound. Responsibilities:• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Must maintain state licensure as required.
• Completion of training courses in Ultrasound Technology, Nuclear Medicine, and CT Scan where available.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
Grade 21 • Performing Diagnostic Imaging plus CT.
Grade 22 • Performing Diagnostic Imaging plus CT and Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine or Mammography.
• Performing three (3) of five (5) modalities.
• Taking call responsibilities.
• Performing Mammography (registered).
Grade 23 • Performing CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine or Mammography.
• Registered in CT or Ultrasound.
• Performing Special Procedures, Cardiac Catheterization, and Angiography.
Grade 24 • Performing Ultrasound (Vascular, Echo, or OB) and registered in the specialty.
• Performing Nuclear Medicine (registered).
Grade 25 • Registered Special Procedures Technician performing Cardiac Catheterization or Angiography.
• Performing CT, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine.
• Must be registered in two (2) of the three (3) modalities.
