RADIATION THERAPIST- PRN- HIRING FOR OCTOBER 2026

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Must be on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (T), and Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
• Knowledge of current IDPH regulation.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to work under pressure due to fluctuating workloads and deadlines.
• High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
• Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
• Strong computer knowledge.
• Technical skills associated with duties listed within this job description. Must be competent in all assigned areas.
• Must demonstrate collaborative and problem-solving skills as required for this position.
