    Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has a challenging career opportunity for a Radar Requirements Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess experience writing in DXL for IBM Rational DOORS, familiarity with model-based-systems-engineering and associated systems like CAMEO, and familiarity with Radar systems for missile warning and missile defense.  This Analyst will work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract supporting the Missile Defense Agency.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with multiple DoD, Industry, and 4th estate teams to manage requirements for multiple ground sensor systems in development by the Missile Defense Agency 
    • Capture technical specifications for future development initiatives in DOORS and/or CAMEO, as required by program engineers
    • Compare prime item development specifications to government specifications, identify deficiencies, and coordinate resolution with stakeholders
    • Maintain databases and system models in accordance with Missile Defense Agency best practices as defined by the Systems Engineer and Transformation Task Force
    • Support technical discussions and interchanges to vector development of requirements and ensure compliance with lead engineer vision and intent
    • Develop briefings, point papers, and trace reports for prime item development specification and relevant system model deliveries
    • Coordinate support from supporting personnel as needed, provide concise instructions and expectations to assist in managing databases and models
    • Evolve current requirement management practices in response to changing information system capabilities
    • Capture processes, standards, and techniques in checklists to enable support and cross-team function as needed
    • Provide technical direction to Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), Design Reviews (PDR, CDR, FDR)
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job
    • 8+ years of related professional experience
    • Active Secret or higher-level security clearance
    • Successfully pass background and drug screening

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree or equivalent, may be preferred at this level
    • Bachelor's degree and 20+ years working on a missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project, or radar system OR a Master's degree and 12+ years working on a missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project, or radar system
    • Experience with radar operation or radar acquisition
    • Knowledge of Electronic Warfare principles
    • Review of verification results of Prime Item Development Specifications 
    • Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Ability to self-manage and initiate within a team structure
    • Ability to work across organizational boundaries
    • Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures (MERG, ICWG, CSAG, etc.)

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge and application of (or interest in) Model Based System Engineering environments and SysML experience (CAMEO)
    • Experience with DOORS and/or DXL/Macro scripting
