KIT Custom HomeBuilders is actively hiring Saw Operators / Material Processors to join our Mill Department. Help prepare the materials that build every manufactured home by operating precision cutting equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Beginning August 31, 2026, eligible production employees will transition to a NEW Monday–Thursday work schedule (6:00 AM–4:30 PM), giving you a three-day weekend every week while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.

What You’ll Do
• Operate saw equipment including table saws, upcut saws, and panel saws
• Measure, cut, and process wood materials according to specifications
• Assist with material handling and preparation for production
• Ensure accurate cuts and maintain quality standards
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

What We’re Looking For
• Previous saw, woodworking, or production experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
• Experience with table saws or similar equipment is a plus
• Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools accurately
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Additional Requirements
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work safely around machinery and cutting equipment
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Must follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements

Work Schedule

Until August 28, 2026
  • Monday–Friday
  • Week 1 (Training): 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • After Training: 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Overtime and occasional Saturdays as production requires
Beginning August 31, 2026
  • Monday–Thursday
  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Three-Day Weekends Every Week!
