R&D Technician II

Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities: Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Job Purpose
Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment

Key Responsibilities
1. Design and set up of pilot and production equipment.
2. Designing methods for using the equipment.
3. Measurement of the process variables.
4. Analysis of the processing variables.
5. Control of the processing variables.
6. Scale up of the system for expected capacities.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
Test method development and mechanical testing.
Instron usage experience.
