R&D Technician II

Job Purpose: Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Qualifications: AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.

Job Title: R&D Technician II
Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months W2 Contract (High possibility of extension/ temp to perm)
Shift: 6:00AM - 02:30PM CST
Pay Rate Range: $25 - $30/hr. on W2
 
Job Description:

• Position will be mostly Test method development and mechanical testing. No CADD work, no Chemistry work.

Job Purpose:

• Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and set up of pilot and production equipment.
• Designing methods for using the equipment.
• Measurement of the process variables.
• Analysis of the processing variables.
• Control of the processing variables.
• Scale up of the system for expected capacities.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications:

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
• Test method development and mechanical testing.
• Instron usage experience.

Additional Job Specific Requirements:

• Design verification mechanical testing.
