Our client, a Global provider of electronic design and test solutions company, is looking for a R&D Technician for their Colorado Springs, CO location.
Responsibilities:
Working with many people include, R&D, technical support, marketing, and NPI to support the following efforts:
Oscilloscope calibration (all active families of client products).
Oscilloscope and QUADS software Installation/Reinstallation
Oscilloscope and QUADS hardware service coordination
Oscilloscope application validation and issue submission
Oscilloscope maintenance.
Narrow down what the issue is on a scope and provide the instrument to our local team to fix.
Make sure the equipment that we used with the above equipment is operational.
Help with the imaging to SSDs that go into the equipment.
You will need to work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
Requirements:
General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers
Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully
Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change
Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure
Able to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems
Demonstrated strong initiative

3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent
High School Diploma or equivalent
Higher level education or certifications in electronics
Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes
