    Description

    Our client, a Global provider of electronic design and test solutions company, is looking for a R&D Technician for their Colorado Springs, CO location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Working with many people include, R&D, technical support, marketing, and NPI to support the following efforts:
    • Oscilloscope calibration (all active families of client products).
    • Oscilloscope and QUADS software Installation/Reinstallation
    • Oscilloscope and QUADS hardware service coordination
    • Oscilloscope application validation and issue submission
    • Oscilloscope maintenance.
    • Narrow down what the issue is on a scope and provide the instrument to our local team to fix.
    • Make sure the equipment that we used with the above equipment is operational.
    • Help with the imaging to SSDs that go into the equipment.
    • You will need to work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.

    Requirements:

    • General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
    • Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers
    • Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
    • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully
    • Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change
    • Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure
    • Able to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems
    • Demonstrated strong initiative
    • Demonstrated attention to detail
    • Good organizational skills
    • Team player with a positive attitude
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Higher level education or certifications in electronics
    • Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes
