R&D Technician

Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data. Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Job Title: R&D Technician
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Duration: 24 Months


Duties:
As a Technician on the team, you will collaborate with R&D Engineers and NPI Technicians. You will:
Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment
Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes
Troubleshoot prototypes
Run scripts that determine failure modes and communicate this back to the R&D team
Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data

Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environmentor equivalent
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing
• Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers
• Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
