Monitor process performance metrics, yield, and quality data, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects. Troubleshoot process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Job Title: R&D Engineer - Intermediate
Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95403
Duration: 24 months
Schedule Notes: Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am - 4:30pm with some flexibility.

Duties:
Provide engineering support across PMTC Wet Process & Assembly operations. (Assembly, Heat Treat, Forming, Electroplating, Chemical Milling)
Develop, characterize, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
Plan and run experiments, then analyze the data and report results with recommendations.
Troubleshoot process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support equipment and tooling qualification, including installation, validation, and process capability studies.
Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process specifications.
Monitor process performance metrics, yield, and quality data, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
Evaluate new materials, equipment, and technologies for process capability and fit.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain)
