Key Responsibilities
Design and continuously evolve the overall architecture of a large-scale software build and execution platform.
Define dependency models, artifact graphs, and incremental processing strategies across multiple compilation stages.
Design and implement multi-stage processing pipelines for domain-specific languages (DSLs) and software-generated intermediate artifacts, applying principles from compiler architecture and modern build technologies.
Drive architecture and implementation of key technical capabilities, including:
Incremental compilation
Dependency analysis
Artifact serialization
Build caching
Remote caching and remote execution
Parallel execution
Collaborate closely with software architects, compiler engineers, platform engineers, and domain experts across multiple teams.
Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks in large-scale software systems and design scalable solutions to support orders-of-magnitude growth in system scale.
Define technical standards, architectural guidelines, and the platform's long-term evolution strategy.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams on best practices in compiler architecture and build systems.
