The Special Education Tutor would be responsible for providing tutoring services to students at their home or providing services to students with an Individulaized Education Program (IEP) who attend a private school located in Barnstable.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Providing in-person tutoring services in accordance with the student''s IEP.
- Providing progress reports periodically throuhgout the year as delineated in the IEP.
Qualities of a Successful Candidate include the abilities to:
- Provide reliable, consistent support wtihin an agreed upon schedule
- Travel to the student''s home or school
- Maintain a tutoring log for each student and their attendance.
- Monitor progress towards the IEP goals and benchmarks.
Desired Qualifications Include:
- Degree in Special education
- Masters Degree (Preferred)
