Job Summary
We are seeking a professional with experience in manufacturing quoting, cost modeling, and financial analysis to support competitive and profitable customer quotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed cost models for customer quotes.
- Review customer documentation, technical requirements, and manufacturing assumptions.
- Participate in quote strategy meetings and kick-off calls.
- Perform cost and price roll-ups, pricing analysis, and profitability evaluations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to validate costs and pricing.
- Support budgetary and quick-turn quotations as needed.
- Review site-provided cost inputs for accuracy and consistency.
- Provide pricing recommendations and financial evaluations to Business Development teams.
- Maintain documentation of cost assumptions and drive continuous improvement of cost models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing industry experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Quote Engineering, Cost Engineering, Product Costing, Financial Analysis, or Manufacturing Quoting.
- Strong experience with cost modeling, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience with manufacturing site cost analysis and finance/operations coordination.
- Knowledge of product costing, commodity costing, ERP systems, and manufacturing financial processes.
