This role is relational, creative, and full of impact. You’ll equip volunteer leaders, support teen worship teams, coordinate rehearsals and training, and partner with Quest Teens and Worship Ministry leadership.

What You’ll Do

As the Quest Teens Worship Coordinator, you’ll help strengthen Quest Teens Worship through four key areas:

• Volunteer Leadership Development: Recruit, equip, and support Worship Team Leads and Serving Team members; assist with vetting and onboarding teen worship team members and adult volunteers; and help build strong volunteer ownership and healthy ministry teams.
• Worship Training & Development: Help teens grow musically, spiritually, and as worship leaders through rehearsals, auditions, coaching, training, and worship opportunities. Periodically lead worship at teen services and events and coordinate vocal coaches or other training resources as needed.
• Ministry Coordination & Collaboration: Partner with Quest Teens, Worship Ministry leadership, and volunteer Team Leads to align schedules, priorities, training needs, ministry expectations, and participation and safety guidelines.
• Administration & Planning: Maintain key participation and training records, support ministry activities and budgets, and provide updates on progress, needs, volunteer development, and ministry involvement.

What We’re Looking For

A worship leader who loves Jesus, connects well with teenagers, and enjoys developing people. You’re relational, organized, encouraging, and comfortable working with both teens and adult volunteers.

You understand that strong worship ministry is about more than music — it’s about helping young people grow in faith, confidence, leadership, and using their gifts to serve others.                                                                                                                                 

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in worship ministry as a worship leader, musician, vocalist, or coordinator.
• Experience working with teenagers in a church, ministry, or youth setting.
• Experience leading or developing volunteers.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to coordinate rehearsals, schedules, and ministry activities.

• Ability to encourage and develop teen musicians and worship leaders.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrates integrity, maturity, and sound judgment.
• Strong team-player mindset — the ultimate goal is the Team wins!
• Demonstrates a mature relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission, vision, values, and Statement of Faith of Christ Church.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with youth or student worship ministry.
• Experience serving in a large or multi-campus church.
• Experience developing volunteer worship teams.
• Familiarity with Planning Center or similar ministry scheduling tools.
