Responsibilities:
- Customer Complaint Handling: Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues. Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Non-Conforming Material Handling: Identify and segregate non-conforming materials. Work with the production team to prevent recurrence and coordinate with suppliers for return or replacement as necessary.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw material to finished product. Use inspection tools and follow quality standards to ensure compliance.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in elastomer fabrication.
- Prior experience performing dimensional inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances and drawing notes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify drawing requirement mismatches, missing features, incorrect dimensions, and documentation errors.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25lbs.
