Now hiring for a Quality Technician (Direct Hire)

Location: West Chester, OH

$24.50 - $26.50 per hour

Shift: Sunday - Thursday | 10 PM - 6:30 AM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational training in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Additional technical training in quality assurance or plastics manufacturing is a plus

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within the plastics industry
  • Experience with quality control processes and testing procedures
  • Understanding of quality systems, data processing, and manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment preferred
  • Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills
  • Experience identifying root causes and resolving quality-related issues

Job Duties

  • Perform quality inspections and quality checks across all manufacturing departments
  • Conduct laboratory and physical testing of film products according to applicable standards
  • Collect production samples and perform required quality testing procedures
  • Identify and investigate root causes of quality issues, including customer returns
  • Maintain accurate records of quality processes, procedures, and test results
  • Ensure quality documentation is accessible to appropriate personnel
  • Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory testing equipment
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory supply inventory
  • Perform housekeeping duties within the laboratory and work areas
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Develop an understanding of all materials used throughout the manufacturing process
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work in temperatures up to 90°F for limited periods
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 35 pounds when required.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
