Position:?Quality Technician with CMM Experience
Location:?Swartz Creek, MI
Shift:?3: 00pm - 11: 30pm
Pay:?$18-23.00 – based on experience

Responsibilities:
Perform receiving and incoming inspections on raw materials and components
Complete first piece and set-up inspections
Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Document inspection results and maintain quality records
Maintain organized QA files and documentation systems
Assist with gage calibration and tracking
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized (5S) work environment
QA techs verify accuracy of components to the original print using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment
Requirements:
Experience in a quality or inspection role within a manufacturing environment preferred
Basic knowledge of measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
Basic math skills including fractions and decimals
Basic computer skills, including scanning, saving documents, and typing reports
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment
