    • Pay up to $21.15/hour

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    • Collect windshield samples
    • Cut windshields to create test samples
    • Prepare samples for specific tests
    • Conduct body glass fragmentation tests
    • Test water softener system for each windshield line
    • Conduct Distortion, Moisture, Pummel, Light Transmission, Boil testing, Ball Drop testing, Opacity testing analysis for all windshield parts
    • Conduct Robustness testing as needed or required
    • Conduct follow up testing as required for non-compliant product
    • Additional testing for the European and Asian Market parts

    KEY COMPETENCIES
    • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite (Word & Excel)
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and limited direction
    • Ability to compile and compose reports for internal and external purposes
    • Ability to understand tempered glass and Windshield standards
    • Familiarity with reading & executing test specifications
    • Adept at summarizing data and revealing key trends
    • Detail oriented, able to maintain test logs/results/data
    • Ability and willingness to uphold the Carlex Values of Safety, Customer Focused, Teamwork, Excellence and Trust

    REQUIREMENTS
    Years of Experience:
    • 1+ years of related lab-based testing experience. Glass industry experience preferred, but not required
    Other Requirements:
    • Must be able to work an alternative work schedule to include 12-hour shifts
    • Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
    • Proven knowledge of ANSI European and Asian Market Standards
