    Description

    The ideal candidate has strong analytical and technical skills, an eye for detail, and experience in quality control systems. You will work hands-on in remanufacturing, partner with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to find and fix quality issues, and take ownership of containment, root cause, and continuous improvement. You bring a positive, can-do attitude, pride in precise work, and the drive to learn quickly and step up when needed in a fast-paced environment where people carry real responsibility.

    • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, audits, and tests to work instructions, control plans, and specs

    • Contain, sort, quarantine, and disposition nonconforming material per NCM/MRB process

    • Lead and support root cause analysis; drive corrective and preventive actions to closure

    • Collect, analyze, and trend mechanical and electrical test data; escalate issues promptly

    • Partner with production, process, test, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve line quality issues

    • Provide shop-floor input to PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions

    • Maintain accurate quality records and system transactions (traceability, scrap, hold)

    • Experience in high-volume manufacturing, automotive, or similar quality/production environment; ability to work in a dynamic production environment, follow safety rules, and wear required PPE

    • Hands-on inspection of components and assemblies using basic metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, torque tools, gauges)

    • Working knowledge of quality systems and tools (ISO/IATF concepts, control plans, FMEA/PFMEA, nonconformance handling)

    • Strong problem-solving and root cause skills; able to read mechanical drawings (GD&T a plus) and basic electrical schematics

    • Disciplined documentation habits and clear written/verbal communication

    • Proficiency with Excel; ability to learn plant systems and proprietary tools quickly

    • Comfort with power/air tools and basic physics, chemistry, and electrical fundamentals
