Overview
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for checks and inspects in-coming materials, in-process and finished products, ensuring conformance to company quality standards and customer specifications .
Responsibilities
- Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders, engineering specifications, and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerance limits.
- Troubleshoot print and bill of materials problems.
- Perform inspection on first piece, in process, purchased part and finished material and products, ensuring conformance to specifications.
- Perform routine quality audits by following the work instructions.
- Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports, damage reports, return reports, and re-work orders.
- Communicate with plant supervision noted deviations of tolerances and quality.
- Assist with ISIR, and PPAP activities as needed
Qualifications
- This is a 3rd Shift 10pm to 7am
- Enjoy 12% shift premium
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of Metal Manufacturing experience in a fast pace machining environment
- Previous Experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing setting is Required
- CMM is experience is plus
- Attention to detail is required
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage ( ISO 9000)
- Experience and ability to read multiple gauges, dials, and other indicators
- Regular lifting of parts up to 30# with frequent walking, bending and reaching

- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Machines & technologies you'll use:
- CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Calipers and Micrometers
