Quality Technician Lead

Description: Responsible for the mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly operations of medical carts, enclosures, and other simple and moderate builds using various manual and power tools. • Train other employees as directed by Team Leader to ensure parts are produced safely, efficiently, and at the appropriate quality level.

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53224

Pay Rate: $20-23/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift

Description: Responsible for the mechanical final assembly and/or subassembly operations of medical carts, enclosures, and other simple and moderate builds using various manual and power tools

• Review assembly checklists for accuracy, properly quarantining defective parts as needed

• Perform final inspections and validations of finished products

• Identify tool calibration needs, and document and request deviations

• Depending on the products being assembled/built, may work on an assembly line within a team and/or independently assembling the product

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, understanding standard and metric dimensions

• Identify quality issues from previous stations

• Demonstrate proper packaging requirements and operation of auto bander

• Touch up a C-Surface finish

• Verify parts and other operators' work to quality standards

• Follow all safety efforts in the work center, with consistent demonstration of proper PPE and adherence to all safety regulations and requirements

• Maintain a consistent 5S workplace through consistent housekeeping efforts

• Train other employees as directed by Team Leader to ensure parts are produced safely, efficiently, and at the appropriate quality level
