Description

Shifts Available:

  • 6am-2:30pm (Days) Must Be Available to Work Overtime as Needed

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays

Pay:

  • $20-$34 base pay (depending on experience) + Bonus

Summary: In this position the Quality Technician is responsible for inspection methods, correct measuring technique, and inspection / audit processing and throughput. The Quality Technician shall use analysis methods to confirm outputs of the inspection process are correct and obtained efficiently. The Quality Technician must foster cooperation with Production, Quality and Engineering through effectiveness communication.

Summary:

The Quality Technician is responsible for performing inspections, audits, and measurements

using proper inspection methods and accurate measurement techniques to ensure product

conformity and efficient throughput. This role applies analytical methods to validate inspection

results and supports continuous improvement of quality processes. Effective communication and collaboration with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams are essential to resolving issues and maintaining high-quality standards. Occasional travel, up to 10%, may be required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, planning packages, and documentation; update materials

as needed for ECN activity or directed changes, and perform detailed first article and

dimensional verification along with functional or analytical testing to ensure product

conformance.

  • Maintain and update calibration listings, ensuring measuring equipment remains

compliant, accurate, and properly documented.

  • Operate a wide range of inspection and measurement tools-including calipers, DMMs,

micrometers, optical comparators, ring/thread/plug gages, profilometers, XRF, and optical

measuring systems-and perform inspections in accordance with established procedures.

  • Accurately record inspection data in systems such as SAP and smartsheets; analyze

results to identify improvement opportunities or failure trends, and support operations with

purges, sorts, and inventory blocking for defective material. Calculate and enter KPI data

for blocked stock value, blocked stock age, inspection queue, inspection queue times.

  • Complete Role Standard Work and deliver all other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to articulate inspection information effectively with design engineers, and operations

team.

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, angles, percentages, ratios, and proportions

to practical situations.

  • Ability to interpret ANSI GD&T dimensioning and determine best practical approach to

inspect all dimensions as needed.

  • Have working knowledge of SAP, spreadsheet, and word processing software;

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and

experience
