CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing quality operations through data analysis, process improvement, and quality assurance activities. This role works closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify quality issues, support root cause analysis, improve production processes, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Type: Contract Job Title: Quality Technician I Location: Wilmington, NC Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Education: Associate's degree in a technical, manufacturing, engineering, or related field required Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing and quality data to support product disposition and process decisions. Support new product introductions, process experiments, and production readiness activities. Perform quality investigations, measurement system analyses (MSA), and root cause analysis. Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Review quality holds and provide data-driven recommendations. Maintain quality documentation and prepare status reports. Provide training support for quality procedures, systems, and corrective actions. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a process or quality technician in a manufacturing environment. Basic statistics knowledge and experience applying analytical methods. Experience with data collection and analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills Experience with JMP, Minitab, SPC XL, or similar statistical analysis tools. Experience with manufacturing data systems such as PI. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and strong work ethic.
