Quality Technician

Shift: B (3pm to 11:30pm)

Pay: $25-28/hour. There is also a 10% differential for B shiftt.

Scope of The Role:

This is a higher-level QC position that involves the use and programming of CMM equipment using PC-DMIS. Other functions include:

• The use of standard measuring equipment i.e. micrometers, verniers, etc.
• Reading of blueprints
• Use of comparators
• Utilizing Microsoft Office suite
• Tool calibration
• Experience with SPC, ISO9002, and other quality standards/techniques
• Review proposals and institute quality plans for WIP jobs
• Help reduce scrap through accurate First-Off inspections
• Interface with customers for inspection techniques, quality issues, and reporting
• Oversee all operations when AFM is absent

Your Abilities and Background:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum four years experience in QC work
• Must have knowledge of CMM operation and programming in PC-DMIS
