Quality Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Quality Technician to support quality and inspection activities within a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in quality or manufacturing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with basic measurement tools, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Perform basic dimensional checks and measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Conduct routine quality tests and accurately document results.
• Identify products or materials that do not meet specifications and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with product and process inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Work closely with production and quality team members to resolve quality issues.
• Assist with additional quality-related projects and testing as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing, production, inspection, or quality experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
