Position Overview:This position is required to support the company's objectives for product quality though control of in-coming materials, first articles inspections, spot product audits and any final inspection/certificates of conformance and reporting of any identified production monitoring data. In addition, this position is required to support the company's objective to maintain ISO 9001 certification through timely quality audits according to the ISO 9001 audit schedule. Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-coming material and sub-contracted processes output inspection to set material specifications and recording of in-coming results in Visual Quality moduleConduct first articles for each customer order, working as a team with production employees and shift supervisors to ensure optimal product quality through each order. Immediately report any out of specification conditions to the operator, shift supervisors and Quality Manager. Complete all necessary first article paperwork as required Conduct spot product audits in collaboration with the shift supervisor and operators to monitor product quality of product being manufactured. Immediately report any out of specification conditions to the operator, shift supervisor and Quality Manager. Complete internal non-conformity documentation on any out of specification situation observedConduct quality audits according to the ISO 9001 audit schedule.
