We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a growing precision manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around blueprints, GD&T, precision measuring equipment, and machined components and takes pride in getting things right.
What You’ll Do
- Perform first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspections
- Inspect precision-machined components to prints and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
- Utilize precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Support CMM, Vision System, and Contour Trace inspections
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Assist with corrective actions, MSA, capability studies, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with production and engineering to identify and resolve quality issues
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Precision machining or CNC manufacturing experience preferred
- CMM experience is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- ASQ certification, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is a plus
