Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Position Type: Hourly

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., hours may vary depending on tasks with occasional Saturday overtime

Position Summary

The Quality Technician supports inspection and documentation activities for manufactured medical components. This position operates Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment and scans or enters documentation associated with medical parts by serial number.

The Quality Technician helps maintain accurate quality records and supports established inspection and documentation requirements. Filling this position will allow the Operations Manager to focus on supervisory and operational responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine equipment to complete assigned inspection and measurement activities.
• Scan or enter documentation associated with medical parts using serial-number information.
• Verify that inspection, product, and quality records are complete and accurately entered.
• Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements.
• Identify and communicate documentation issues, product discrepancies, or quality concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
• Handle medical-part documentation carefully and accurately.
• Complete assigned inspection and documentation activities within established timelines.
• Participate in training to develop the skills necessary to operate CMM equipment and complete assigned quality activities.
• Follow all workplace safety rules and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Work occasional Saturday overtime based on operational needs.
• Perform other duties consistent with the general nature and level of the position.

• Ability to accurately scan, enter, and maintain detailed product documentation.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability and willingness to learn CMM operation and applicable quality processes.
• Ability to follow workplace safety precautions and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Ability to communicate quality concerns or discrepancies to the Operations Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Quality Technician experience.
• Previous experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machine equipment.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, inspection, or quality-focused environment.
• Experience maintaining product or quality documentation through serial-number tracking.
• Experience working with medical parts or similar manufactured components.
