Description

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Empowerment to take responsibility for the quality of work performed.
  • Perform hourly in process audits of all manufacturing activities, including assembly and repair/rework operations.
  • Maintain full documentation, per the applicable control plan on items described above.
  • Identify and isolate nonconforming output discovered during in process audits. Work with manufacturing personnel and identify cause(s) and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain full documentation on items described above.
  • Maintain full documentation, per applicable instruction on items described above.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as directed.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, averages, etc. Must be able to read a tape measure. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Attributes:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
