Job Description:


The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of all products produced meet agreed upon standards and expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities


+ Use a variety of quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing,UPC scanners, paint thicknesstestersand other lab equipment

+ OperateCMM and VisionSystemInspection equipment

+ Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports(NCMR’s) as needed and complete appropriate ERP/Oracle transactions

+ Ensure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance audits

+ Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material

+ Ability to navigate document repository web page tolocateinspection reports,blueprintsand other quality documents

+ Develop andmaintaineffective working relationships within team environment

+ Perform basic shop floor math, such as fraction to decimal conversion,arithmeticand units of measureconversion

+ Problem solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage interruptions isrequired

+ Consciouslyabide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment

+ Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience


+ High School or GED diplomarequired

+ One (1) year ofpreviousquality technicianexperience preferred

+ Understanding of metrology fundamentals preferred

+ Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel)

+ Excellentoral and written communication skills

+ Ability to work independent
