    Description

    Salary Range: $22.00-26.00/hour (pending experience)

    Hours: Monday - Friday / 2:00pm - 10:30 pm, flexibility for business needs.

    Essential Duties and Tasks

    • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality, Food Packaging Safety and other requirements. 
    • Ensure all QA bench-top test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. 
    • Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Maintains other sample requirements as defined.
    • Completion of certificates of analysis and other documentation.
    • Monitoring quality communications, internally and externally.
    • Monitoring floor activities, hands-on with production process.
    • Must be comfortable working with quality testing equipment at the site.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications, Education and Experience

    • 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Prior quality experience in a similar role utilizing testing equipment - strongly preferred.
    • Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing.
    • SQF or other quality certification experience - a plus
    • Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Teams, and Outlook.
    • Experience with ERP system - a plus.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
    • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
    • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
    • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
