Job Summary:
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's quality management system, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards. The individual will lead quality initiatives for new product introductions and manage field quality processes to drive improvements. Success in this position is measured by achieving certification, minimizing quality gate risks, and effectively resolving field failures.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the entire ISO 9001 certification process, including assessments, documentation, and audits.
- Establish and manage core quality system processes such as document control and corrective actions.
- Enforce quality gates for new product introductions from development to production.
- Drive improvements in field quality by analyzing returns and failures.
- Develop and present a comprehensive company quality dashboard and lead review meetings.
Must-Have Skills:- Proven experience implementing or certifying a quality management system (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Expertise in advanced product quality planning and failure mode analysis.
- Strong data analysis skills using databases, spreadsheets, and BI tools.
Industry Experience:
Experience in hardware manufacturing quality, program management, or operations is highly preferred.
