Position Summary

The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with ISO 9001 standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory or industry specifications. The position serves as a key cross‑functional leader, collaborating across multiple business units to align, standardize, and continuously improve processes that support product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the alignment, integration, and standardization of quality processes across multiple business units to ensure consistency and operational efficiency
• Ensure quality systems comply with ISO standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory specifications
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop, document, and define organizational processes
• Identify deviations from quality standards and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QMS effectiveness and reduce defects
• Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and stakeholder meetings to promote process harmonization and best‑practice sharing
• Oversee internal audit programs and ensure ongoing audit readiness
• Act as the primary point of contact for external audits (e.g., customer, regulatory, or third‑party audits)
• Monitor QMS performance using metrics and data analysis; identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Provide training and guidance on QMS requirements, procedures, and quality standards
• Support risk management activities, including process risk assessments and mitigation planning

Candidate Profile

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 with a history of successful audits
• Familiarity with regulated or standards‑driven manufacturing environments
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration and influence stakeholders
• Strong organizational, documentation, and technical system skills
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities
• Experience supporting internal and external audits and compliance activities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys)

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven experience leading quality management systems, audits, and certification activities
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Professional quality certification (e.g., ASQ or equivalent) strongly preferred
