    Description

    Quality Systems Associate/Specialist

    Smith Brothers Tool Company is seeking a Quality Systems Associate/Specialist to support our quality management system and help ensure our products meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role will assist with QMS documentation, internal audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), nonconformance handling, and quality data analysis in a manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities include:

    1. **Quality Management System (QMS) Administration

    **

    1. **Internal Audits and Compliance

    **

    1. **Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

    **

    1. **Nonconformance and Complaint Handling

    **

    1. **Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting

    **

    1. **Training and Support

    **

    1. **Supplier and Incoming Quality Support (if applicable)

    **

    1. **Continuous Improvement

    **

    1. **Other Duties as Assigned

    **

    **Experience

    **

    Tailor based on Associate vs. Specialist level:

    • **Quality Systems Associate (entry to mid):

    **

    • **Quality Systems Specialist (mid):

    **

    **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    **

    • Basic understanding of quality management principles and tools (e.g., PDCA, SPC, root cause analysis).

    • Familiarity with QMS standards such as ISO 9001 (and any other standards that are actually applicable to your industry).

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as drawings, specifications, work instructions, and inspection reports (if this is actually required for the role).

    • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with QMS or ERP software systems preferred.

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with employees at all levels.

    • 10 hour shift
