We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented people-person to be responsible for the performance of Quality Technicians and inspectors on various shifts at the Brookshire Megfactory. The Quality Supervisor will manage a team of Technicians to ensure they perform at a high level while meeting the needs of the production floor and product quality. The individual will be responsible for quality assurance related metrics for their shift. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for performance managing their team to generate the highest value from every employee while maintaining a high level of technical ability.

  • Delegate responsibilities and manage schedules for a team of Quality Technicians
  • Provide coaching and training to Technicians
  • Escalate quality issues with Management and Engineering as needed
  • Drive improvements in quality operations
  • Assist Quality Technicians on in-line decision making
  • Provide regular reports & updates to Quality team and Management
  • Assist in management of material disposition
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, supervising a team of 10 or more employees
  • Certification in a quality-related field such as six-sigma, TQM, or equivalent a plus
  • Familiarity with measurement system analysis (physical measurement techniques i.e. CMM, optical comparator) and analytical techniques like GD&T, Gage R&R
  • Familiarity with dealing with Part Quality Issues and SORTs/SCARs
  • Experience in fast paced manufacturing process
  • Easily demonstrate ability to drive issues to root cause solutions in previous experience
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. SQL skills preferred, with the ability to command the English language, both written and verbal
