Description

Quality & Compliance Specialist

The Quality & Compliance Specialist will oversee product quality, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance across a diverse product portfolio. This role partners with sourcing, operations, sales, customer service, and suppliers to ensure products consistently meet quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Monitor supplier performance through audits, scorecards, and corrective actions

  • Investigate customer quality issues and drive root cause resolution

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry requirements

  • Maintain supplier qualifications, certifications, and compliance documentation

  • Support customer requests for testing reports, certifications, and compliance records

  • Develop quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools

  • Lead continuous improvement and CAPA initiatives to enhance product quality and supplier performance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance, Supplier Quality, or Regulatory Affairs

  • Experience in manufacturing, packaging, industrial products, plastics, or distribution environments preferred

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, supplier audits, CAPA, root cause analysis, and quality systems

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and quality management software

  • ASQ, Lean Six Sigma, or ISO Auditor certifications are a plus

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
