Toyoda Gosei North America (headquartered in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Quality Specialist in the Quality Assurance department. The Quality Specialist functions with a moderate degree of autonomy, and is responsible for providing professional level quality analysis and support for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA) and TGNA Manufacturing Companies (AMCs).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enable the effectiveness of the Quality group through on-site plant visits and analysis of quality requirements and conditions
- Provide quality reporting, data analysis, identify trends, and follow up with NAMC's regarding corrective action
- Gather, manage, analyze, and interpret NAMC quality data for global TG reporting requirements
- Organize, lead through example behavior, other members of Delivery/Quality team
- Conduct on-site plant visits to deliver required training material in classroom setting
- Provide any necessary back-up assistance for weekly quality management
- Continue to learn and develop strength in identifying quality issues and promoting corrective action
- Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
- Function in a highly collaborative environment, where flexibility and teamwork are crucial to organizational success
- Conduct Audits regarding Safety Critical components and Processes
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Certifications and Education
- Minimum of Associates degree or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
Experience
- 1 to 4 years of experience in Quality or related field is required

Technology Competencies
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suites 2016 or newer is required
- PFMEA/DFMEA/Control Plan knowledge
- IATF/ISO audit experience is preferred
