    Description

    SWJ Technologie specializes in providing engineering, planning, and project management services across various industries. We are currently seeking a Quality Specialist for an assigned project with a client in the automotive industry. The role is based in Greer, SC and requires onsite presence. If you are eager to grow your career and make a meaningful impact on exciting projects, we look forward to your application.PURPOSE: The job of the Quality Specialist ensures high quality levels by investigating and avoiding non-conformities of supplier parts/material found in the production process.RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Secure non-conforming material/parts at collection points
    • Create the corresponding case in the relevant Quality Management systems (QMS),
    • Coordinate the transport of non-conforming material to the evaluation area and update its location in the system
    • Research the technical reference specification of the material to perform diagnoses and tests to investigate and determine the root cause of the quality issue (supplier, transportation, in-house, etc.)
    • Raise appropriate complaint reports (to include allocation of PPM / Costs / 8D’s) and define the appropriate disposition of the material
    • Manage and update the case in the QMS through documentation, quality alerts, evaluation, and containment through approval of a resolution and closure
    • As needed, collaborate with process partners in-house, at suppliers and other service providers to investigate and resolve new issues
    • Coordinate adherence to standard disposition times limits and document exceptions
    • Prepare case status reports as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support customer and business demands.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial engineering or a related field of study.(required).
    REQUIRED SKILLS:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Quality management knowledge and experience
    • Experience with quality assurance systems and tools.
    • Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
    • Excellent skills to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Experience with PPM tracking, cost allocation, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
    • SAP experience
    PREFERRED SKILLS:
    • Experience in the automotive industry
