Quality Inspector

Foley AL

Onsite

Contract - 1st Shift, 5/40

Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PMOnsite

$37.40/Hr. Position Summary: Quality Inspector

• Perform inspections of electrical activities and electrical processes.
• Conduct detailed inspections of in-process and finished products, including First Article Inspections.
• Support quality assurance activities by identifying, documenting, and communicating quality issues.

Responsibilities: Quality Inspector

• Work varying shifts and overtime as required.
• Pass a color/vision test.
• Inspect electrical activities and processes.
• Perform detailed inspections of in-process and finished goods, including First Article Inspections.
• Accurately document product characteristics with technical detail.
• Initiate Quality Notifications for non-conforming products.
• Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements to hardware inspections and document reviews.
• Identify potential quality issues and help prevent their occurrence.
• Communicate quality issues requiring resolution to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor and utilize calibrated measuring instruments.
• Perform other assigned duties safely.

Required Qualifications: Quality Inspector

• U.S. Citizenship
• High school diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing manufacturing or product inspections using blueprints and specifications.
• Experience using precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Preferred Qualifications: Quality Inspector

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
• Ability to use computer systems for data entry and retrieval of inspection/configuration information.
• Ability to review documents and identify or resolve errors and missing information.
• Experience using SAP.
• 2+ years in an aerospace or similar inspection role.
