Quality Specialist

The Quality Specialist ensures that all quality documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed on time, while supporting investigations, deviations, and customer complaint management within a pharmaceutical environment.

• Complete quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including investigation reports and deviation records.
• Review batch records to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and internal quality procedures.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, including deviations and nonconformances, and document findings and corrective actions.
• Support the management and resolution of customer complaints by gathering data, performing root cause analysis, and documenting outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Participate in validation activities by reviewing and supporting documentation to confirm compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends in investigations, deviations, and customer complaints and recommending process enhancements.
• Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready quality records and documentation in accordance with regulatory expectations and company policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Science or a related discipline.
• 45+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality role.
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and their application in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Hands-on experience with investigations related to quality issues.
• Proven experience managing and documenting deviations.
• Experience handling and documenting customer complaints within a regulated environment.
• Proficiency in batch record review and quality documentation review.
• Solid background in quality assurance practices and processes.
• Ability to perform and document root cause analysis in support of investigations and deviations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing quality documentation.

• Experience supporting validation activities and reviewing validation documentation.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations related to pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Strong written communication skills for clear, concise, and compliant documentation.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple investigations, deviations, and documentation tasks simultaneously.

This role operates within a regulated pharmaceutical environment that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The position involves extensive work with quality documentation, batch records, and investigation reports, often using electronic and paper-based systems. Work is typically performed during standard business hours in an office or quality operations setting within a manufacturing or laboratory facility. The environment emphasizes compliance, attention to detail, and collaboration with quality assurance, production, and other technical teams.

This is a Contract position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
