    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting all qualityrelated activities within the facility, ensuring products meet internal standards, customer expectations, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This role performs routine quality checks, maintains documentation, supports nonconforming material processes, and contributes to continuous improvement across all plant operations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Quality Checks & Production Support

    • Perform all startofrun quality checks to verify equipment setup, materials, and product specifications.
    • Conduct random inprocess checks during long production runs to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Pull random product samples and deliver them to the lab for testing and verification.
    • Spotcheck incoming raw materials and finished goods for conformance to specifications.

    Labeling & Material Control

    • Create and print inhouse labels as required for production.
    • Maintain label cage inventory, including organization, replenishment, and control of label stock.
    • Unpack, inspect, and verify inbound label shipments for accuracy and quality.
    • Monitor, track, and support the disposition of rework and nonconforming materials/products.
    • Root cause analyzation of any non-conforming finished products found in the warehouse or submitted from complaints.

    Quality System & Documentation

    • Maintain, update, and organize all Quality System documentation, ensuring accuracy and version control.
    • Write and issue Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMRs) as needed.
    • Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance across all departments by supporting audits, documentation, and process adherence.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

    Data Analysis & Improvement

    • Analyze quality data, production performance, and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Assist in implementing corrective actions, preventive actions, and process improvements.
    • Support crossfunctional teams in resolving quality issues and improving operational performance.

    Other Duties

    Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities deemed necessary by Management to support plant operations and quality objectives

    Job Requirements

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

    High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience with quality process field or any experience deemed acceptable to Martin Lubricant management.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High proficiency with PC applications. (Excel, Word)
    • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (would be a Plus)
